Dublin's Awkward Silence joins forces Danish duo Moskus.

As their recent Made on Monday’s appearance demonstrated, Guitarists Simon Jermyn and Shane Latimer, aka Awkward Silence, have forged a partnership both creative and emphatic, and are  finding much to explore in a richly textured, adventurous soundworld that augments their instruments with loops and preparations. In the process they’ve found common ground with Mikkel Ring (guitar, effects) and  Christian Skjødt (drums, electronics) a young duo from Copenhagen. Moskus are equally at home on exploratory ground, instinctively combining acoustic, digital and analogue sound to create fiery improv that has drawn praise from the highest  echelons of the Danish jazz scene. Their first Irish performance will be a collaborative affair with sets from both duos, followed by new collaborative music developed here in Dublin.
