Albums Not Listings

Since we can't enjoy live music just at the moment, buying an album from an Irish artist is a great way to find some music to lift your spirits in these dark days, and to support artists. Most artists have lost the majority of their income due to the COVID-19 crisis, because of concerts cancelled. Scroll down to find some great albums from Irish artists which could be your next favourite album to listen to at home.

Buying directly from artists' websites, Irish labels like Diatribe, Ergodos, Heresy, Raelach, Farpoint etc., or from Bandcamp is the best way to ensure that your money goes directly to support Irish musicians. Friday 5th June and Friday 3rd July are great days to buy from Bandcamp, as due to COVID-19 the service are waiving all their fees on those days, ensuring that what you pay goes directly to the artists.

For fans of our 12 Points festival you can also find albums from 12 Points artists for the last number of years available HERE

Artists, if you have albums you would like us to share please send us a link to admin [at] improvisedmusic [dot] ie. We'll be sharing links to artists' work as much as we can during this period.

IMC cannot guarantee listings if we do not receive accurate information to the email above. We may not be able to list every album received immediately if submissions are high. We may not be able to list an album if it is not appropriate to our listings.
