Bang goes Bottlenote Pendulum Dublin

Vorsprung durch technik, as JJs gets a digital makeover from The Bottlenote Collective, for a night of adventures in twisted jazz, improv and electronica as part of DEAF 2008. Estonian sound artist Alo Allik, already a veteran of the electro acoustic and multimedia scenes in Amsterdam and New York, opens with a deeply algorhythmic deejay set, followed by the liberating and noisy explorations of Lakker, aka Dara Smith, one of Ireland's finest electronic artists.

To conclude, a brand new project from the heart of the Irish jazz scene in Bang Hazard, where Justin Carroll, Greg Felton and Shane Latimer collaborate with Allik in forms and improvisations that embrace acoustic instrumentation and live processing, bridging the analogue and digital traditions.
