Daniel Jacobson’s ZoiD

Creative batteries charged after a year long sabbatical in New Zealand, the talented young Irish composer Dan Jacobson is back with a new project that reflects his positive musical experieces in the land of the long white cloud.

ZoiD explores free and collective expression within form and structure, and utilising colours and sounds picked up from the diverse New Zealand music scene of improv, noise, chinese, indian and electronic musics. Joining Jacobson on guitar are drummer Sean Carpio, saxophonist Karl Rooney and Greg Felton Rhodes.
