Dopamine

Formed in 2002, Dopamine brings together an impressive array of Irish players with a common goal to incorporate their love of jazz, r 'n' b and rock into a coherent fusion approach.

Drawing on Weather Report and The Brecker Brothers, the irrepressible rhythmic pulse is provided by brothers Keith and Jason Duffy, bass and drums respectively, anchoring the potent tenor of Michael Buckley, trumpet and keys of Ronan Dooney and the dazzling guitar of Jimmy Smith.
