Gerald Urich Quartet

German saxophonist makes Gerald Urich makes a first visit to Dublin at ththe invitation of his namesake and cousin, George Urich.

A graduate of The Munich Conservatory, he’s previously occupied the lead alto chair in big band of Eastern Europe’s finest trumpeter Dusko Goykovich, and is currently based in London, regularly performing with the city’s finest, including Gene Calderazzo.

He’s a Coltrane devotee, and sure to find kindred spirit in bassist Damien Evans, Pianist Phil Ware and his drumming cousin.
