Greg Felton Quartet

The Irish Times rates him as “ the most promising young keyboard performer here", and now, Greg Felton showcases a new quartet featuring equally potent emerging voices on the Irish jazz scene, with Bill Blackmore (trumpet), Dave Redmond (bass) and Sean Carpio (drums).

As a fixture of groups as diverse as Nigel Mooney’s Hip Operation and Ronan Guilfoyle’s Mappa Mundi, this is an open minded musician grounded in the history of jazz piano.

Here, Felton presents new compositions, informed by his recent studies at Dave Liebman's famed chromatic harmony camp, and broader interests in free improv and contemporary classical music.
