Hugh Buckley Trio

Never a musician to let the grass grow under his feet, guitarist Hugh Buckley is currently working toward a new recording, as follow up to successful releases in 97 with Yes Indeed and 01's Spirit Level.

Be Bop may be his bedrock, but soul and gospel nuances are increasingly to the fore, and this evolving musician now turns his attention to an intimate trio setting.

Here, Buckley puts new compositions through their paces in the excellent company of bassist Rory O'Donovan and drummer John Mele prior to their trip to the studio.
