Continuing our Jazz Connector online meet-ups with a focus on career development, IMC would like to invite the Irish music community to come together for an interactive presentation, Q&A session and chat on Wednesday Oct 12th from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. The topic at hand is:
Applying for jazzahead! Showcasing
jazzahead! is a trade fair and festival held every April in Bremen, Germany - this year: 27-30 April. It's considered the must-go event for the international jazz industry and the place for high-quality, contemporary jazz from Europe and overseas. As the world's largest event where all the protagonists of the scene (musicians, labels, agencies, festival makers, bookers and media representatives) meet, it is considered by professional visitors from all over the world as the "Family Reunion of Jazz".
"Showcases" are the 30- to 45-minute short concerts at jazzahead! which are open to the general public and at the same time part of the trade fair. 40 jazz highlights and current formations from all over the world can be experienced on three days and nights on the stages of Hall 7 and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof." more info: https://jazzahead.de/en/showcases/
