Kristen Cornwell & Jeremy Sawkins

Guitarist Jeremy Sawkins has been a welcome presence in Irish jazz since 2004, with his contemporary outlook and tonal approach that invites comparison with contemporary players like John Scofield.

He's one of a growing community of Australian players now based in Europe, including singer Kristen Cornwell, who makes her home in Brussels.

Sawkins and this sensuous and senstive singer share a decade long association of touring and recording together, and this reunion adds another Australian musician to the equation, Galway based bassist Damien Evans, along with premier Irish players saxophonist Karl Rooney and drummer Kevin Brady.
