Mark McKnight Quintet - Pendulum

Guitarist Mark McKnight provides further evidence that a new generation of jazz talent is emerging from Belfast and later in July he'll also be performing at The Montreux Festival Jazz Guitar Competition. His low profile to date can be attributed to a lengthy sojourn in Boston's Berklee school, from where this supple and inventive player has recently graduated. His Pendulum debut also brokers new affiliations on the bandstand, with Dubliners Greg Felton (piano) and Sean Carpio (drums) partnering up with leading young Scottish players Konrad Wiszniewski (tenor) and Euan Burton (bass).
