Mick Coady’s Ezh- Pendulum

After more than six years in London, bassist Mick Coady is re-establishing himself as part of the Dublin jazz community.Always a nimble, confident bassist, his time across the water has been well spent, working with eminent musicians like the great altoist Peter King, co-founding The Loop Collective and playing in emerging groups like The Gemini Quartet. This Pendulum date should reacquaint Dublin audiences, and also marks the debut for Ezh, an adventurous new trio with guitarist Mike Nielsen and Belfast drummer David Lyttle, with emphasis on simple themes and group improvisation that allows the music to follow its own organic rationale.
