Organics

Drawing on the venerable tradition of Jimmy Smith, Larry Young and Jack McDuff, Organics update the vintage sound of organ, guitar and drums with contemporary standards, original material and an empathic group sound borne of an impressive gigging history. Justin Carroll at the Hammond console, guitarist John Moriarty and Myles Drennan on drums are the three elements of this tight working trio, who last year became the first jazz recipients of the prestigous Musicwide Award.
