Tommy Halferty Trio featuring Michel Zenino

Back from his annual summer recess in France, Tommy Halferty brings his trademark effusive style to bear on a programme of jazz standards, brazilian grooves and harmoically adventurous originals in the modern guitar trio vein.

That French connection has been the catalyst for many encounters over the years, and this latest entente cordiale brings the outstanding virtuoso bassist Michel Zenino to Dublin for the first time, reunited with Halferty and drummer Sean Carpio following their revelatory set at last year's Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
