Toohorn

Led by composer and saxophonist Sean Og, Toohorn is a new quartet dedicated to original material, and eschewing tradition chordal and harmonic roles for a more expansive approach.

Toohorn's sound world owes equal parts to the pioneering free-jazz statements of Pharoah Sanders and Ornette Coleman and the probing approach of today's contemporary figures like Andy Laster, Bobby Previte and Ikue Mori.

Joining Og in the frontline are tenor sax neophyte Kelan Walsh, with rhythms and colours from bassist Pawel Wysota and drummer Michael Harding.
