Viva Four

Dublin’s enjoying its own modest revival in the art of the jazz vocalist, and newcomer Aoife Doyle is in its vanguard, with an attractive tone, natural phrasing and improvisational nous.

Guitarist Stephen McFarlane, bassist Jamie Gormly and drummer John McLoughlin are the other components of Viva Four, a new ensemble that draws its musical reference points from the jazz and Brazilian standard repertoire.
