Chas Meredith’s Only Ellington

Calling all Ellingtonians for a night of swing, that elusive but vital ingredient that gives jazz its unique flavour. After more than half a century of playing, the evergreen Chas Meredith has it in abundance and a vast repertoire of vintage material. Appearing here on baritone saxophone, he’ll be putting a younger generation of Irish musicians through their paces on the beautiful and enduring small group music of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, with Greg Felton (piano), Bill Blackmore (trumpet), Andrew Csibi (bass) and Kevin Brady (drums).
