Create at The Cooler is a direct artist support to provide a suitable space where artists can develop their craft and practise together.

Jazz Camp for Girls

An international educational programme supporting pre-teen and early teen girls in exploring improvisation and jazz music in a fun, supportive environment.

Young Irish Jazz Musician Award

The Young Irish Jazz Musician provides a platform for the best of young jazz talent.

It gives them the chance to be heard by leading Irish jazz musicians and broadcasters.

BAN BAM

A creative commissioning and career development opportunity open to female composers.

Commission & Development Award 2020/2021 presented by Improvised Music Company (IMC) and Moving on Music (MOM) is open to Irish-born or resident female composers on the island of Ireland (North and South).

Navigator Jazz Residencies

The Navigator Jazz Residency programme collaborates with arts centres around the country.

It offers artists professionally remunerated time and space to develop and perform work with a deep sense of space, informed by community involvement.

Fun Size Jazz

Fun-Size Jazz! is a performance and career developmental opportunity to create work for young audiences.

Developed in partnership with The Ark Children's Cultural Centre this opportunity allows musicians to develop their craft by learning how to devise material for, and working with, young audiences.
