Described by The Irish Times as a textbook example of the ongoing vitality of the tradition, recent years have seen Phil Ware set a new benchmark for the piano trio in Irish jazz. Augmented by the confident stride of bassist Dave Redmond and drummer Kevin Brady, he offers a programme of deftly restructured Broadway standards and original compositions that straddles swinging authenticity and the contemporary vocabulary.

Guesting with the trio is former Galwegian, Danni Healy, one of Ireland's finest young trumpet players, and alumnus of the city of the tribes' venerable Black Magic Jazz Orchestra.
