Equinox

The first Pendulum outing for this recently formed working group combining the experience of Brendan Doyle, among our leading tenor players, the rhythmic understanding forged between bassist Cormac O’Brien and George Urich on drums, and introducing a player to watch in emerging pianist Johnny Taylor.

Expect an eclectic array of standards less travelled and bop anthems from Monk, Sonny Rollins and Dizzy Gillespie, with lateral thinking in the form of innovative adoptations of contemporary songs.
