Greg Lloyd Trio

A hallmark of the Dublin jazz scene in recent years has been the steady influx of musicians from other shores, among them Australian pianist Greg Lloyd. Lloyd is an assured pianist in the contemporary swinging mould, and has accumulated a loyal following at regular gigs in the Boom Boom Room. For his Pendulum debut, he’s recruited a potent rhythm section in bassist Dave Redmond and Belfast drummer David Lyttle, performing Lloyd’s original compositions and standards associated with Bill Evans and Thelonious Monk.
