Honor Heffernan Quartet

2005 has seen a welcome surge in performing activity from Ireland's best known jazz singer, including a weekly residency with Noel Kelehan and further acclaim for her duo encounters with Jim Doherty.

Three decades into a lauded career that includes major international screen credits, she remains a potent presence in Irish jazz, a natural singer whose languid, unforced style lets the great songs of the standard repertoire tell their own story.

On occasion, she also takes on the emotionally rewarding terrain of Joni Mitchell, a musician with whom she feels great empathy. With Cian Boylan (piano), Andrew Csibi (bass) and Phil McMullen (drums).
