Julie Cruickshank Quartet

Pianist Julie Cruickshank has quietly insinuated herself into the Irish jazz scene over recent years, and her contributions to last years INTRO 05 tour, IMC’s annual showcase for emerging players, were warmly received by audiences and media alike. For her part, Dorothy Murphy has been at the vanguard of vocal jazz in Ireland for some years and her dark, bittersweet tone is a perfect foil for Cruickshank’s deft and tasteful piano voicings
