Karl Rooney Quartet

Cork’s jazz scene has made significant strides in recent years, with a growing pool of very capable musicians, exemplified by the confident, poised playing of tenor saxophonist Karl Rooney.

After a year’s sabbatical for a Masters, Rooney returns to Dublin for an evening devoted to the memorable and always challenging songs of Joe Henderson and Wayne Shorter, with Justin Carroll (keys), Sean Carpio (drums) and Ronan Guilfoyle (bass).
