Linley Hamilton Quartet

Bangor based Linley Hamilton is in spirited form, and has been working extensively with singer Jaqui Dankworth as well as recent performances with Ian Shaw and Georgie Fame.

He’s also released his debut CD Up To Now and tonight's gig features music from the album, in a programme of standards and originals firmly rooted in the hard bop vein.

Joining Hamilton's trumpet in summoning up the legacy of Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Dorham and Clifford Brown are leading Northern players Joel Byrne McCullough(guitar), Nick Scott (bass) and John Wilson (drums).
