Dublin outings for Ireland’s leading tenor player have been thin on the ground since becoming a parent and moving to Navan, but this one is an all star affair, and also marks a welcome return to Dublin for Detroit born pianist Greg Burk.

Now based in Rome, Burk’s forthcoming trio CD features Steve Swallow and Bob Moses and will be his third release for noted Italian label SoulNote, and will surely add to his growing reputation as a first rate pianist and composer with a personal approach, described by JazzTimes “as particularly lyrical and expressive”.

Bolstering these two inventive soloists are Galway bassist Damien Evans and Belfast drummer Steve Davis.
