Microclimate

A second outing for this project from the fertile musical mind of Ronan Guilfoyle which takes its head from a semiotic approach that Samuel Beckett would be proud of.

A cycle of compositions, each inspired by a single word, that collectively come under the title There’s A Word For It. Teasing out the nuances along with Guilfoyle’s bass are guitarist Joe O’Callaghan and drummer Chander Sardjoe, in a new direction for Ireland’s leading jazz composer, with atmospheric miniatures and musical intrigue.
