A Pendulum debut for Jenna Harris, a voice to mark, and part of an emerging coterie of musicians that look set to invigorate the Irish jazz scene. The phrasing is broad and laid back, the register warm and saturated, all qualities that enhance the song choices which include Cohen and Waits as well as her confident approach to the jazz standard. She keeps good company too, and appears here with Bill Blackmore on trumpet, bassist Derek Whyte and drummer Phil MacMullan.
