Simon Jermyn Quartet

Reykjavik’s favourite Irish guitarist is back on a fleeting visit for this get together with some of his peers from the top flight of the Dublin scene.

The move to Scandinavia has been beneficial for this inventive player, with upcoming shows at The Copenhagen and Airbus jazz festivals, a New York date with Tony Malaby, and myriad projects n the Icelandic capital, from piano trio Jumpsuit, pop combo Benni Hemm Hemm and his own quartet.

He’s joined in Dublin by tenorist Michael Buckley, drummer Sean Carpio and Greg Felton on Rhodes and Wurlitzer.
