‘SongRise’: Vocal Workshop with Laurel Murphy

Laurel Murphy is a jazz singer, improviser and teacher and she has a long and illustrious history performing, recording and teaching.

Inspired by the work of Bobby McFerrin, she produced "SongRise", which are improvised vocal events and continues to lead the SongRise Improv Choir in Vancouver, Canada.

She will be bringing her uplifting ‘SongRise’ workshop to Dublin on Thursday, June 2nd at 7pm in the Boydell Room in Trinity College Dublin.

Your voice is the instrument in this uplifting, improvisational singing experience. You will be singing grooves, harmonies and interlocking rhythms as part of a spontaneous musical creation. All you need is your voice and your enthusiasm! Open to all. Bring drinking water.
