NEWS: Improvised Music Company’s new website is a Finalist in the Realex Web Awards 2016

Improvised Music Company’s new website www.improvisedmusic.ie has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Realex Web Awards 2016 in the Best Arts & Culture Website category. Other finalists include Dublin City Council Arts Office, Cork City Ballet and Wexford Opera Festival.

The IMC website was launched in June 2016 as a key information point and new online resource for Irish jazz artists and audience. The ARTISTS section contains profiles of 15 years worth of innovative jazz and ethnic music programming for IMC events

Improvisedmusic.ie is as a treasure trove of discovery for those looking to learn more about contemporary jazz and ethnic music, with regularly updated IMC Event Listings, as well as Scene Listings, a engaging News section, Playlists and more.

Since June the website has had almost 7,000 unique sessions and 15,000 page views. The Hotter than July event page received the most interest with 1.5k people viewing it on the event day of 31st July alone.

The awards evening takes place in Liberty Hall Theatre on September 28th. Wish us Good Luck!
