Pendulum- DIT Masters Showcase

Jazz education in Ireland has made significant strides in recent years, and in another leap forward, DIT have recently added a Masters in Jazz Performance to their existing Masters programme and it’s coordinated by leading Irish guitarist Mike Nielsen. Eight equally able Irish musicians are participating in its inaugural year, all of whom are very active as performers, and yet it’s likely they’re sharing the bandstand for the first time in this DIT showcase. It’s an all star line up that includes singer Cormac Kenevey, guitarists Pawel Szumilo and Hugh Buckley, pianist Cian Boylan, bassists Damian Evans and Pawel Wysota, trumpeter Linley Hamilton and saxophonist Seán Óg, joined by drummer Kevin Brady.
