Yorudni Septet

As described in the memoirs of Dmitri Shostakovich, the Yurodni were travelling poets and bards who collectively embodied the folk music of pre-Stalinist Russia. With Adrian Hart and Simone Mendonca (violins), Kate Ellis (cello), Dave Redmond (bass), Nick Roth (saxophones), Colm O’Hara (trombone) and Phil MacMullan (drums)
